NCLT – New Filing Requirement

The NCLT has issued a Circular dated 03.09.2026 mandating duplex (back-to-back) printing for fresh filings before all NCLT Benches, with immediate effect.

The requirement covers Petitions, Applications, Replies, Rejoinders, Affidavits and other pleadings.

Annexures and supporting documents may also be printed on both sides wherever practicable, provided readability is not affected.

The circular also requires clear and legible printing, proper page alignment, continuous pagination and easy readability/handling of records.

Practitioners are advised to ensure that all fresh filings comply with the above requirements.
