❌ The email and the Assessment Order are fake and have not been issued by the Income Tax Department.

⚠️ Fraudsters may also send emails claiming errors in tax calculation, refund processing, or pending notices to trick users into clicking malicious links.

🚨 Avoid clicking on suspicious links or sharing personal or financial information.

✅ The Income Tax Department never asks for passwords, OTPs, or bank details through email, SMS, or phone calls.

🔎 Tax-related communications can be verified by logging into the official e-filing portal.
